Virginia Krauft

Ed.D., Licensed Psychologist

Virginia Krauft, Ed.D., has served the Northwest Arkansas community as a licensed psychologist since 1973. She believes that all individuals have a right to grow and to become who they were meant to be. She is a gardener at heart and knows that providing a healthy environment and adequate nourishment nurtures growth.

Dr. Krauft built the Center For Psychology in a rural setting to provide a unique environment for clients. She is a licensed psychologist, certified school psychologist, and a diplomat in forensic psychology. In addition, she holds a master’s degree in theology and a diploma as a Jungian analyst. Her 30 years of experience enables her to be the gardener who can nurture you into the person you were meant to be.

Her background includes serving as Director of School Services at Ozark Guidance for 19 years and helping to establish in-patient and out-patient services for children. She was an initial founder of the New School in Fayetteville, has served on many boards and received the Arkansas Community Service Award. Virginia also established the nonprofit John Locke Memorial Library consisting of over 8,000 books.
