Our Services

The Center For Psychology provides a wide range of services through it’s highly trained and experienced therapists. The counseling staff includes six therapists, each with unique backgrounds and capabilities. The Center is also staffed by two full-time administrators and includes a separate room designed for play therapy with children, a large, well-appointed room for families and groups, as well as an office dedicated to psychological testing.

Individual Psychotherapy

Individual therapy is a process through which clients work one-on-one with a trained psychotherapist in a safe, caring, and confidential environment. It is an opportunity to explore thoughts, feelings and behaviors and work toward desired change. In addition, the Center offers depth-oriented therapy for personal growth and self discovery by providing Jungian analysis, Psychoanalytic and Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy.

Couples, Relationship and Marriage Counseling

The focus of relationship counseling are interpersonal issues often including communication, conflict, intimacy, financial and/or family challenges. It affords the chance to improve understanding, emotional closeness and harmony.

Child, Teen and Family Counseling

Family counseling is the most effective approach to most issues involving children and teens. By working with the entire family system, the symptomatic family member can be most effectively relieved of their difficulties and suffering.

Play Therapy

Play therapy is an effective form of counseling used with young children to allow them to resolve psychological challenges. The entire Center is dedicated to providing a space for children—inside and outside to help them resolve feelings and emotions that “talk therapy” sometimes can’t reach.

Group Therapy

Group therapy is a type of psychotherapy that takes place with a small group of clients led by one or more therapists. Groups can be created around topics, specific disorders or therapeutic approaches. A special room with couches and comfortable chairs is available for all groups.

Psychological Testing

Psychological tests allow for the objective assessment and evaluation of individuals. This information can be very useful for determining the diagnosis of mental health disorders, personality, aptitude, intelligence, neuropsychological deficits and career interests. All tests at the Center are administered and interpreted by a Licensed Psychological Examiner and/or a Licensed Psychologist.

Discreet Therapy Services

The Center provides all clients the highest level of confidentiality allowed by law. In addition, the Center provides additional privacy because it is located away from high traffic areas and shopping centers. However, for some high-profile clients, more discretion may be needed. In these circumstances, additional privacy considerations can be taken which may include special scheduling and/or location accommodations.

Our Clinic

The Center For Psychology is one of the most prestigious mental health clinics in Northwest Arkansas. It is in a rural setting, which provides beauty, peace and privacy for people to come and comfortably discuss the concerns in their lives. Our play therapy room provides an indoor healing environment while an acre yard with greenhouse and garden creates a place for outdoor therapy.
