Shona Palmer, Ph.D. Is an integrative mental health professional whose mission is to guide and support her clients in living healthier, happier and more fulfilling lives. In a warm and supportive setting, her clients gain self-awareness, personal growth, and develop skills to improve their overall sense of well-being.

In her work as both a psychotherapist and life coach, Dr. Palmer applies an integrative approach encompassing body, mind, and spirit. She’s a lifelong student of the mind-body connection, as well as the relationship between nutrition and mental health. Her approach to treatment is based on positive psychology, which seeks to identify and nurture human strengths to make daily life more fulfilling.

Believing that people are inherently healthy, resilient, resourceful, and motivated to grow, she helps them learn how to thrive and create optimal health and well-being. Through whole-life-integration, her clients are able to connect with their authentic self and lead more meaningful and happy lives. Dr. Palmer brings a wealth of experience in various health settings. She has worked with children and adults in inpatient psychiatric hospitals, community settings and private practice and currently offer services to adults and couples. She utilizes psychodynamic and mindfulness-based therapy that includes stress reduction techniques to address a wide range of mental health concerns and life challenges. She has a special interest in mind-body medicine and integrating nutrition into clinical practice to enhance mood and help clients experience optimal levels of health.
